FYI: “Scherenschnitte” is the German word for scissor-cutting. Designs are cut, using an iris scissors and or an x-acto knife, from a single sheet of paper or from a folded piece of paper to create a symmetrical design. The art was brought to Pennsylvania by Swiss and German immigrants in the mid 1700’s. This is an original Marilyn Diener and marked as such on the back.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition. As expected with vintage, used, and / or secondhand items, this item may have some wear consistent with age. See pictures. Video available upon request. Has hanging hardware.
