Dimensions: 13 inches tall x 6.25 inches wide
Special because: the base is hand-crafted and wood turned (hole on the bottom is from connection to lathe). Cloches were first used in the 17th century—first as mini greenhouses and then, later, to display more decorative objects.
Picture it: displaying anything from a horseshoe crab, dried flowers, feathers, seasonal decorations, etc.
FYI: This piece is in near-perfect condition and has minor scuffing on the wooden base (see pictures).
